Swinderby CHOPS update for April 2022

The price of oil for our 32000 litre order on 21st March was £0.9675 pence per litre (ppl) which was significantly less than we were expecting having seen BoilerJuice quoting £1.8995 ppl on 8th March and the ongoing volatility of the oil markets. The market seems to have stabilised at the moment, with oil prices currently sitting around 85p to 90p per litre depending on the supplier.

Due to the rise in oil prices, reports of heating oil thefts are on the increase nationwide so please make sure that you take appropriate measures to secure your oil tanks.

Future dates to place an oil order by (for delivery within 7 days) are as follows:

• Order by 20th May 2022
• Order by 20th July 2022
• Order by 30th September 2022 (later date due to my holidays)
